Hello to all my WIFI HOTSPOT CREATORS, and welcome to the Effingham Wifi Club Website. I am located in the city of Effingham Il. High Power Wireless

I am really excited to be honoring a new member today, supporting the club mission to be a wifi, hotspot creator. Our new member writes, asking? How can he receive a stronger wifi signal, from a lower area in town?

I replied:

  • Very good question

I know what it is like “been there done that” Our new member lives about a mile from me, here in Effingham, so we will be running some test on this new TP-Link TL- WA5210 2.4Ghz High Power Wireless Outdoor CPE Access Point. At the beginning of next week. Bookmark this website and come back and see the results!!

I am going to boost a Wifi Hotspot using this grid antenna Long Range Wifi Antenna Review

This 21 dBi WiFi is the compact parabolic antenna which can provide up to 5 miles of signal transmissions and receptions (provided proper height, obstruction clearance, power and antenna on other end). The WiFi dish has a parabolic grid made of cast aluminum then powder coated in a light gray finish making it very weather resistant. The feedhorn arm is a 10″ long support for the dipole/reflector assembly. It is easy to mount on a suitable TV antenna mast, water pipe or other support tube. Adjustable elevation angle is possible via the U-bolt mounting system.

Range specifications are based on independent test results. Actual performance may vary due to differences in operating environments, building materials and wireless obstructions. Performance may increase or decrease over the stated specification. Wireless coverage claims are used only as a reference and are not guaranteed as each wireless network is uniquely different. Maximum wireless signal rate derived from IEEE 802.11 standard specifications. Actual data throughput may vary as a result of network conditions and environmental factors. N300 wireless signal speeds achieved when connecting to other N300 or later 802.11n/ac devices. Output power specifications are based on the maximum possible radio output power plus antenna gain.
